Dice order: the red and white dice are different colors only for appearance. Either die may show either number in a scoring combination.

Doubles: score the total of both dice and roll again. The first three doubles in a quarter may each trigger a bonus roll. On every bonus roll, add the actual total of both dice—even if the combination is not listed above. A fourth double adds 0 points and ends the bonus-roll chain for that quarter. Example: 3 + 3, followed by 4 + 5, scores 15 points.

Regular-season overtime: Round 1 is a one-die coin flip: each team rolls once, and the higher roll starts Round 2. A tied Round 1 is rerolled. In Round 2, teams alternate one-die rolls; the first 1 wins, while a 6 immediately creates a tie. The winner’s Round 3 points roll is 1–3 = 3 points, 4–5 = 6 points, and 6 = 7 points. If Round 2 creates a tie, both teams receive Round 3 points of 1–2 = 0, 3 = 3, 4 = 6, 5 = 7, or 6 = 8.

Quarter maximum: a team's dice score for any regulation quarter is capped at 49 points. Overtime uses one die in each round.

Manual / Voice / Virtual Dice play: use the two-dice scoring rules above. The first three doubles in a quarter may trigger bonus rolls. When Virtual Dice rolls doubles, it pauses on the result and waits for the player to select Bonus Roll. A fourth double adds 0 points and completes the quarter.

Computer play: the computer uses its football scoring model rather than the dice table.

🎲 How to Use Virtual Dice

Look for the gold outline showing the active team and quarter. You may select a different empty score box before rolling.
Select Roll Dice. The two virtual dice use the scoring combinations above.
A roll that is not one of the listed scoring combinations—and is not doubles—scores 0 points.
Doubles add the total of both dice and trigger an automatic bonus roll. The full dice total from every bonus roll is added, even when its combination is not listed. Only the first three doubles in a quarter can trigger another bonus roll; a fourth double adds 0 points and ends the chain.
When rolling is complete, the score is entered automatically and the highlight advances to the next team and quarter.
After the last required roll, both final scores glow yellow and the game saves automatically—there is no need to select Save Game.
Virtual Dice stops at the 49-point quarter maximum. If regulation ends tied, it switches to the one-die, three-round overtime procedure. Postseason overtime always produces a winner. In the Super Bowl, NFC is home in odd-numbered years and AFC is home in even-numbered years.
